Brilliant Sky Toys & Books Celebrates Brentwood Grand Opening
Specialty toy store opens first Tennessee location, ninth in franchise

OKEMOS, Mich. (Aug. 24, 2010) – Brilliant Sky Toys & Books is proud to announce the opening of its newest franchise in the Cool Springs area of Brentwood, Tenn. The specialty toy store retailer offers parents and children a unique educational experience with a focus on providing the finest toys, books and events to enrich, enlighten and entertain families.
The 5,400 square-foot store, located in the Mallory Corners shopping center at the corner of Mallory Lane and Moores Lane, features Brilliant Sky’s distinguishing aesthetic of vibrant, warm colors, unique artwork and low sightlines, designed to encourage children to imagine and explore. Families in the Brentwood area will also be able to take part in various complimentary activities offered at the store, such as craft workshops, special play days and story hours with guest storytellers and musicians.
The location is locally owned and operated by Teresa Outhier. The Outhiers are longtime Brentwood residents and parents to a daughter and son.
“We are excited to become a part of the Brilliant Sky family,” said Teresa. “We know the brand is on a strong and steady path for growth, and as parents, we firmly stand behind the values at the core of the company.”
The Mallory Corners store is the first Brilliant Sky location in Tennessee. The Brentwood opening brings the total number of Brilliant Sky Toys & Books stores to nine nationwide.
